Marvin Zonis and Lawrie Philpott Welcome You to the LL Website!

Everyone believes leadership to be crucial – in business, in government – in fact everywhere humans are active. And just as everyone believes in the importance of leadership, so there’s an infinite number of articles, books, websites and blogs all purporting to provide vital information on the role of the leader and how to improve leadership skills. (Actually, not infinite!  Enter ‘leadership’ in Google and you’ll get 1,630,000,000 results. Yes, that’s one billion, six hundred and thirty million!)

So, it is with considerable trepidation and humility that we offer LL for ‘everything leadership’.

Nonetheless, what is it that propels us to offer this ‘new take’ on leadership? Two factors:

  • Given exponential changes in technology, the increasing number of women in senior roles in business and government, globalization and a host of other factors, the leaders of the future will of necessity have different qualities from today’s leaders and exercise their leadership in new and novel ways. For our part we believe we can shed light on the future of leadership.
  • The two of us driving this effort – Marvin Zonis and Lawrie Philpott – have more than a century of experience, combined, dealing with leadership issues as researchers, consultants and teachers.

Our clear aim is to provide you with new insights to the leadership of the future. So, be prepared for a blast of thoughts and media – delivered on the LL website!

Welcome!
